Leading the charge for the December instalment is German electronic master, Stephan Bodzin. An artist who has meticulously and tirelessly perfected his craft over a lifetime under the ethos of “authenticity”, Bodzin has arguably been one of the most recognizable and reputable acts in the international techno scene for more than a decade. His enthralling live set and flawless catalogue of music to match could not be more suited to the cavernous warehouse space.
A similar statement could easily be made about Marcel Dettmann who is widely recognised as one of the most influential proponents of contemporary techno. Widely associated with iconic trademarks including Berghain and Hard Wax, Dettmann has forged a career that could only be described as legendary. An artist who has stayed on the cutting edge of techno since the beginning by perpetually adapting but simultaneously staying true to his raw, underground roots, there is no denying he will push any venue to its limit and undoubtedly deliver something very very special.
Solidifying the hefty lineup are hard hitting duo Dense & Pika who over the past eighteen months have consistently impressed audiences with engaging sets and a slew of releases, including multiple on the Drumcode label.
The final piece of the puzzle is fast rising local talent Made In Paris who has burst onto the scene all guns blazing. Her last twelve months have been jam packed full of career milestones that include; Maceo Plex supporting one of her tracks, international tours and the launch of her own label Upon Access.
This raw, industrial warehouse space presents the perfect location for an all-out, world class techno affair boasting a level of production, sound and lighting that is almost certainly going to deliver something of unforgettable quality to Sydney.
